Dr. David Woska is the Chief Information Security Officer at Censinet, and brings over two decades of expertise in healthcare cybersecurity. Having spent much of his career working with hospitals and health systems, David has spearheaded major cybersecurity initiatives that have significantly enhanced data protection and compliance in complex healthcare environments. Before joining Censinet, David played a pivotal role at Northwell Health in New York, where he was instrumental in developing and implementing third-party risk management and IT governance programs. His efforts not only fortified the security posture of the organization but also fostered a culture of security awareness. As a former professor and published author, David is passionate about education in cybersecurity, often leveraging his extensive knowledge to enhance understanding and engagement across all levels of an organization. David holds a doctorate in chemistry from the University of Pennsylvania.
