Censinet® Announces the Appointment of Independent Board Member
Stan Nowak, VP of Consumer Engagement at Aetna, Formally Joins the Company’s Board of Directors
BOSTON, MA — October 15, 2019 – Censinet, the third-party risk management company for healthcare providers, today announced that Stan Nowak, Vice President of Consumer Experience at Aetna, a CVS Health Company, has officially joined its Board of Directors to aid in the company’s growth strategy and go-to-market initiatives. The appointment comes months after Censinet launched and announced its $7.8M Series A funding round co-led by HLM Venture Partners and Cedars-Sinai with participation from seed round investors Schooner Capital, LRVHealth and Excelerate Health Ventures.

Nowak joins Censinet’s board with almost two decades of experience in the healthcare industry. In his role at Aetna, he is responsible for transforming the consumer experience. Prior to joining Aetna, Nowak was the Founder and CEO of Silverlink Communications, a healthcare consumer engagement company that helped guide consumers towards better health through multi-channel communication campaigns. Silverlink was acquired in 2015.
Nowak’s 30 year career includes leadership roles in the international energy industry, and the technology industry. Stan received a master’s degree from Harvard Business School and a bachelor’s degree from Harvard College.
