About the Role
As Director of Product Management at Censinet, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and driving the vision, strategy, and execution of our product portfolio. Reporting directly to the Chief Product Officer, you will take ownership of the product direction, ensuring that our solutions align with business objectives and the evolving needs of the healthcare industry.
This role is designed for a player-coach who thrives in a startup environment—typically 60-70% hands-on strategy definition through to product execution and feature delivery, with the remaining time focused on coaching, process refinement, and cross-functional leadership. You are as comfortable rolling up your sleeves to drive specific product features as you are setting the overarching strategy and mentoring team members.
Responsibilities
Product Execution and Operations
● Drive the end-to-end delivery of high-impact product features, ensuring operational excellence from discovery through launch.
● Own the tactical execution of the roadmap, making real-time trade-offs to keep engineering and design teams unblocked and aligned.
● Translate complex strategic objectives into clear, actionable requirements that engineering teams can execute immediately.
Product Vision and Strategy
● Define and articulate the product vision and long-term strategy in collaboration with the CPO and executive leadership.
● Continuously analyze market trends, competitive landscape, and customer feedback to identify opportunities for differentiation and innovation.
● Drive prioritization and investment decisions, ensuring alignment between product initiatives and company objectives.
● Champion a culture of data-driven decision-making, using insights and metrics to refine products and inform future development.
Product Planning and Roadmap
● Own and maintain product road maps, ensuring clarity of priorities and alignment with business goals.
● Guide decision-making on trade-offs between short-term wins and long-term platform investment.
Market and Customer Engagement
● Act as a product evangelist both internally and externally, representing the product vision with customers, partners, and the industry.
● Engage directly with customers and prospects to validate ideas, gather insights, and drive adoption.
● Support go-to-market activities in partnership with sales and marketing, ensuring product launches are impactful and customer value is clear.
Organizational Leadership and Influence
● Provide product leadership across the company, setting a high bar for clarity, rigor, and customer focus.
● Align cross-functional stakeholders around shared goals, outcomes, and accountability.
Qualifications
● Proven experience driving specific feature sets from concept to deployment while simultaneously mentoring junior product managers or peers on best practices.
● Proven experience (7+ years) in product management, with significant responsibility for strategy, roadmap, and delivery.
● Demonstrated success in leading SaaS products, ideally within healthcare, risk management, or related regulated industries.
● Demonstrated fluency directing AI tools as part of your day-to-day product work. You treat AI as a working partner, not a novelty.
● Strong strategic thinker with a record of translating vision into action and measurable results.
● Exceptional communication and influencing skills, able to work effectively across all levels of the organization.
● Demonstrated ability to balance hands-on execution (e.g., writing requirements, user stories, and data analysis) with strategic oversight and cross-functional coaching.
● Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree a plus.
