We are thrilled to announce the company successfully closed a new round of funding, led by MemorialCare Innovation Fund, with other leading health system investors Rex Health Ventures and Ballad Ventures, to accelerate adoption of Censinet RiskOpsTM and transform third party risk management across healthcare.
We announced we have entered into a new partnership with The Healthcare Association of New York State (HANYS) to bring Censinet RiskOpsTM to HANYS member organizations through the HANYS Marketplace. In addition to this partnership, we’re delighted to offer a new webinar on Jan 24th based on the most recent Ponemon Institute research report on ransomware and its impact on patient safety. Funding led by MemorialCare Innovation Fund including Rex Health Ventures and Ballad Ventures, bringing the Company’s total funding to more than $22 million. New Ponemon Report Shows Ransomware Continues to Impact Patient Safety, Per Survey of Hospital IT/Security Leaders
This 2023 report provides an update to the industry’s first study on the impact of ransomware on patient safety, titled The Impact of Ransomware on Healthcare During COVID-19 and Beyond, published in September 2021 was the first to demonstrate a qualitative correlation between ransomware and adverse impacts to patient care, including increased mortality rates. In this updated report, over half of respondents indicated that one or more ransomware attacks experienced by their organization resulted in a disruption to patient care. Read More
