Before Censinet, Cormac was an executive at Optum. He had P&L responsibility for the payer and provider markets in the Optum Analytics business unit, which focuses on unifying both claims and clinical EHR data to drive total-cost-of-care analytics for payers, health systems, and other providers. He also helped to launch the company’s analytics outsourcing managed services business. Cormac started his career at the Advisory Board Company, a best practice research and technology company serving health care and higher education, where he worked for 21 years. He was one of the named Executive Officers. He held a variety of C-level roles in both strategy and product development, as well as the general management role for the company’s health care analytics business. He also launched the company’s first foray into higher education technology with an offering focused on student success, which is now the leading student success management platform in the industry. Cormac holds a bachelor of science degree in economics and mathematics from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
